After everything going wrong that possibly could in previous weeks we finally have made it to the boat yard for repairs to start. Hauled out we look to strip everything away to be able to see what repairs need to be preformed. With the vessel’s broken mast still strapped to her, we’re getting a crane in for removal. Moving something this big off a boat we have to be careful not to create any future damage while moving it though the air. We also start tackle some some of the many problems our Amel Super Maramu has. we instal an air conditioner into the vessel to run all day everyday. The reason for this is the tropics has some extremely humid air that when inside a vessel can create mold and attacked insects and all kinds of nasties.
This life we keep chasing on the ocean is a long way off at the moment but we feel with hard work and the right people behind up we can get there. As we peel the layers back there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel and it could very well be to an ocean sailing paradise haha.
