This week we are preparing our new mast so when it’s time to hoist everything will be perfect. Some of the jobs include running the cables for anchor light, windex and VHF. We try to work out how to best install the new mast baseplate to the deck in order to keep the mast as secure as possible. I even have to cut some of the deck away to make an access point for the cables. All good fun on the hard and you guessed it all year round heat sweating it out in the Malaysian tropics.
